Cricket was born in May of 2008 to her purebred LaMancha, first-freshener dam, Tilly, who has been at the Darn Good Farm since she was a month old. Tilly's dam is a grand-champion, and her twin brother is one of the herd-sires at the Gothberg dairy in Bow, WA. Cricket's sire is a handsome, registered LaMancha buck named VCR, with blue-blood lineage of his own. Cricket has been living a life of leisure at the DGF but is now ready to go off and fulfill her own champion dairy destiny.
